Grand Opening Fish Toss

A respected name in seafood is casting a line in Atlantic City. With more than 30 different varieties of fresh seafood featured on a menu that changes twice daily, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant is set to open its doors at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City on Monday, July 21.
WHAT: To mark the grand opening, more than 100 members of the Harrah’s and McCormick & Schmick’s staffs, executives and politicos will form a quarter mile long line that travels around the circumference of the casino on the hotel’s main thoroughfare to the front door of the restaurant. A giant fish will be passed down the line until it reaches Chef Brandon Iacone at the entrance to the new restaurant. Once Brandon gets it, he’ll toss the flippy flounder into the air, signaling the arrival of the first seafood delivery to the new restaurant.
Then everyone will be invited to step inside to celebrate the opening of this new Atlantic City landmark.
WHO: Founder Doug Schmick will join Executive Chef Brandon Iacone, GM J. Holmes, area politicians and VIPs in this Fish Toss ceremony.
