Stewart's Root Beer and Boyd's Texas BBQ, both on Magnolia and the Boardwalk, and Pete's Pork Roll, also on the Wildwood boards but not yet sure of the address, are all close to opening brand new and welcome additions to the Wildwood Boardwalk scene. Stewart's is ready to open any day--they are THIS  close to opening their doors to the public, and the building is stunning. This place is going to be a huge hit. Boyd's BBQ has a place in Villas and this is his first venture onto the Boardwalk. He's set to open May 31, as is Pete's Pork Roll. Pete is Pete Byron, of Byron Realty. Hey, when the housing market goes into a slump, people still need to eat! Look for lots of Philly and New Jersey folks rolling up for pork roll, egg and cheese sandwiches all summer. I'm trying to get a column out of this in the next couple weeks. We'll keep you posted.
